GROUPS AND FIELD TRIPS
Reduced Rates for Groups of 15+
For groups of 15 people or more, you may request a timed-entry visit at a reduced rate using our Group Visits Form. The reduced rate for groups is $10 per person with an advanced reservation of no less than seven (7) days ahead of your visit date. On average, a self-guided, multi-media tour through our historic galleries lasts an average of 90 minutes. Groups may also request a guided tour or a debrief session using the form.
Planning Your Group Visit
Deposit Required Effective January 1, 2025, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to make an advance reservation for a group visit at the group rate. This initial deposit will cover entry for 15 guests, the minimum number required for a group visit. Group visits will not be confirmed until payment of the non-refundable deposit is submitted. Groups who have not paid the deposit will be admitted with general entry at the standard admission rates. Payment of Full Balance The remaining balance for your group visit (less the nonrefundable deposit) is due at the time of your visit and to be paid in full at the BCRI ticket booth before your visit can begin. Major credit cards, checks from an organization or business, and cash are accepted. Parking Available Free parking for cars and buses are behind our building off of 15th Street North.
School Field Trips
Reservations for school field trips must be made by a K-12 school administrator or educator and take place from September through May. If your group consists of 15 people or more, you must book your visit in advance per the instructions above. Please note that visits to the BCRI are best enjoyed by students in 4th grade and higher. Field Trip Pricing Grades 4 through 12: $10 per student Grades 3 and Under: FREE Adults, including Chaperones: $10 per person Effective January 1, 2025, full payment for school field trips must be made no less than seven (7) days ahead of the visit date. Chaperones Required BCRI requires that children and students are accompanied by an adult chaperone (includes teachers and parents) at all times. Chaperones should ensure that museum guidelines are followed during your tour to help us keep the BCRI nice for all of our visitors. These will be explained at the beginning of your tour. Grades 4 through 12: One (1) chaperone required per every eight (8) students Grades 3 and Under: One (1) chaperone required per every six (6) students Please be responsible for your student group. BCRI staff/volunteers rely on you to keep your group together while visiting the museum. Encourage your students to learn. On tours, please invite your students to respond and ask questions. Please Note: Daycares, summer camps, family reunions, and students that are not touring with a school district are subject to the standard admission rates.
